About Our Boat

First Light - 26' Northwest Aluminum Craft

"First Light" is a meticulously handcrafted vessel fabricated by Northwest Aluminum Craft in October 2023. Built with a focus on comfort, safety, and fishability, this boat offers an unforgettable experience on the water. It features a 9.5-foot beam for exceptional stability and wave-handling capability, while high gunnels ensure security on the back deck. The design includes a fully enclosed stand-up head for privacy during bathroom breaks and an Espar diesel heater to keep the cabin warm on chilly mornings. Powered by a Suzuki DF350 hp engine and a Suzuki DF20 hp motor, "First Light" provides reliable and efficient travel to the fishing grounds.

First Light Fishing Adventures is moored full-time at Jock's Dock in Sooke, adjacent to the Prestige Resort. Guests who wish to park at Jock's Dock will need to pay a $10 parking fee. Additionally, we can arrange pickup at the public dock located in front of the Prestige Oceanfront Resort for your convenience.
