Frequently Asked Questions

"How far will we be fishing offshore?"

When targeting salmon we primarily fish structures close to shore in depths ranging from 40 - 150 ft of water.

When targeting halibut, depending on tides and currents we can find ourselves fishing close to shore or offshore 3-4 miles from land.

How far are the fishing grounds

Depending on many factors (wind, tide, time of year, species targetted) we can fish 5 minutes to 50 minutes away from Sooke.
